If it stays there and the program window does not open, then it is searching for some module. The work around was to set the program to run as administrator. This used to happen when I reinstalled Win 7. You start NX-D from start menu, nothing happens. You start NX-D from a desktop ICON, the disk activity light blinks for some seconds and then nothing.
